A lawyer by training, Carole Gailloux is also an actuary and certified financial planner. She holds a degree in actuarial science from Université Laval, a Bachelor of Laws from the Barreau du Québec, and a graduate diploma in taxation from l'Université de Montréal.
An active member of the APFF (Association de planification financière et fiscale), Carole is often a featured speaker at conferences hosted by a number of finance industry organizations and associations.
An entrepreneur at heart and building on an already impressive career, Carole founded Groupe Assura in order to work more closely with her clients and help them benefit from the extensive experience she acquired while with such respected businesses as Marsh Canada, RBC Royal Bank, CIBC Wood Gundy, Manulife Financial and Great-West Life.
She offers her clients practical short and long-term financial solutions and insurance recommendations. She also offers estate and tax planning strategies for executives, private business owners and high net worth individuals.
A tireless volunteer, Carole is a committee member for the annual fundraising golf tournament for the Cancer Research Society and sits on the board of directors of the Youth and Music Canada Foundation.

Jean-Claude Lavigne held many different positions of responsibilities in the Financial Services Sector. Equipped with his past experience after 20 years in the Credit Sector and 10 years in the Insurance of Persons, he joined our team as a Manager of Client Services.
Jean-Claude Lavigne holds a Baccalaureate in Business Administration from l’Université du Québec à Montréal. He also holds a double certification in both Insurance of Persons and Damage Insurance.
He will provide you with his vast knowledge of the Insurance of Persons and hence will act as your guide with the numerous details of your insurance contracts.
His knowledge and curiosity profit all clients. Jean-Claude is generous of his time and this allows our clientele an access to a very high-quality level of services.
Jean-Claude loves sharing and discussing his many interests in life, music, biking, outdoor activities and lots more.
STEVE LEFEBVRE
Customer Experience Specialist, Group Insurance
Steve Lefebvre continued his studies at University of Quebec in Montreal in accounting sciences, and is CGA/CPA graduate.
Steve has more than 35 years of experience in large companies such as Provigo / Loblaws and the Noranda Group and also in SMEs, being his favorite.
He has held various positions in accounting and management allowing him to learn these different facets and perfect his knowlegde.
With all these years of experience, he has also developed excellent skills in personnal management and project management.
Steve is a big fan of nature and the great outdoors, and this for all these thousand and one outdoor activities according to the seasons.
SYLVIE FOURNIER
Manager, administrative
Sylvie Fournier has worked in the life insurance business for 8 years; she was a financial advisor and then specialized in administration.
She holds a Production and operation management diplôma from l'École des Hautes-Études Commerciales de Montréal.
She holds a trade technology diploma from le Collège Marie-Victorin in Montreal, and made a career change after 25 years.
Sylvie is an occasional golf player and baseball enthusiast, a sport she has practiced for 25 years and now follows her son who is an Elite baseball player.
